How a Sprint Works

Based on our experience, we’ve fine-tuned the entire process to make it as convenient as possible for you while delivering maximum value. It’s an efficient and structured process. Our job is to guide you safely through it, from your vision to the final plan. You focus on strategic decisions; we’ll take care of everything else.

The sprint is divided into 3 phases

01 Preparation and Analysis

Once the request has been confirmed, we work independently in collaboration with the client.

We’ll start by gathering background information. We’ll ask you structured questions about your budget, technical requirements, development goals, and known constraints. It’s okay if you haven’t decided on everything yet. We’ll finalize the project brief together during the follow-up workshop.
Our experts will conduct their own in-depth research and analysis of your project’s potential. We will prepare an initial strategy and detailed supporting materials, which we will use to work together in the second phase.

02 Strategic Workshop

A collaborative workshop led by experienced architects at the client's premises.

The workshop is an intensive working session between your team (management, finance, operations) and our experts. Over the course of a single intensive day, we’ll guide you through the key working sessions:
Block 1: Presentation & Research We will present the results of our analysis, relevant case studies, and the strategic options we have identified for your project.
Block 2: Defining the Scope Together, we’ll review and refine all aspects of the scope. Using our proven methods and guided discussion, we’ll ensure that nothing is overlooked—from operational requirements to long-term strategic goals.
Block 3: Modeling & Concept Development Here, we transform abstract requirements into a physical concept. Using our unique interactive and collaborative methods, we work together to model various scenarios and the relationships between operations and functional units. In real time, we seek the optimal spatial and programmatic solution that everyone agrees on. The result is a collaboratively developed concept that visualizes the future form and function of the site.
Block 4: Finalization & Confirmation We will formalize all deliverables. We will compile the final project brief that emerged from the workshop. We will obtain your final confirmation that the brief is complete, clear, and has been agreed upon by all key participants.
Block 5: Next Steps We wrap up the sprint by setting a clear and realistic schedule. You’ll leave knowing exactly what will happen next.

03 Final Report and Strategy

Personal presentation of results and strategy.

You will receive the final strategic report within two weeks of the sprint.
This document is the tangible outcome of the entire process. It contains a summary of our analyses, the final program specifications that you have approved, a visual concept for the site, and, above all, our expert recommendations.
Thanks to our unique integration of the investment and design worlds, we’ll clearly explain what the next practical steps should be, what the risks are, and what the investment steps for your project are.

Your report is not just a document, but a practical outcome of the workshop that you can put to immediate use. It serves as a key decision-making tool for management and, at the same time, as a detailed action plan for the next phase of the project.

For Budvar to truly open up, it should become an integral part of the city.

That is why we are not approaching this project as if it were an ordinary manufacturing plant, but rather as a design for a local hub, a neighborhood—the Budvar District.
