We design responsibly, contextually, and with an emphasis on sustainability.
We founded our architectural studio in 2018. From day one, our ambition has been to design buildings with their ongoing aging in mind. We’re shaping the future.
We take a rational approach to our designs. The resulting structures are practical, and their maintenance is sustainable over the long term. We care about aesthetics, but our main focus is on the overall solution. The smarter and more practical, the better.
Our clients are business owners and investors who are building companies not only for themselves, but also for future generations.
Our Team
-

František Novotný
Partner, Head Architect
František manages projects from the initial concept through to completion. He ensures that every design stands up not only architecturally but also technically, and that it is faithfully translated into the building, with attention to every detail.
He has long been dedicated to sustainable energy sources and their meaningful integration into designs. He also applies his experience in coordinating complex processes outside the studio when producing art exhibitions, where it is necessary to consider both the big picture and the small details that hold everything together.
-

Karel Goláň
Managing Partner, Architect
Karel is the primary point of contact for clients and guides them through the entire project. He is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient project management, and he monitors deadlines, the budget, and the necessary permits.
He has long been dedicated to the topic of the circular economy in the construction industry and seeks ways to naturally incorporate the principles of responsible resource management into every project.

Daniel Hub
Architect, BIM Expert, Responsible Design Champion
Daniel focuses on the design, presentation, and documentation of large-scale projects. At every stage, he seeks solutions that are operationally viable, economically sound, and respectful of both environmental and cultural contexts.
He works with a wide range of software tools that enable him to develop his designs with precision and communicate their form clearly. In his studio, he also ensures that his work is grounded in clearly defined ethical values and a responsible approach.

Vlastislav Srbek
Junior Architect
He is a graduate of the architecture and civil engineering program. In his projects, he focuses on structural and technical solutions. That is why functionality and well-thought-out details are important to him. When working in the studio, he enjoys being involved in the entire process of creation and implementation, where he can work with his hands and test his designs in practice.
Vlasta likes to combine architectural thinking with graphic design and digital creation. He is happiest when his solutions are aesthetic, practical, and a little funky. -

Faris Jašarević
Junior Architect
Faris studied architecture in Sarajevo at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo (AF UNSA) and in Prague at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University (FA ČVUT). He approaches projects with a critical perspective and a natural interest in sustainability. He enjoys developing more complex concepts and finding clear and understandable solutions for them.
In addition to architecture, he is involved in graphic design and analog photography, where he continues to hone his eye for composition and detail. Outside the studio, you’ll most often find him in a café with a book in hand.

What do our colleagues say about working here?
Daniel Hub — Junior Architect
The studio has a very pleasant atmosphere and a cheerful vibe, where I feel welcome not only as an employee but as a person. The approach to work here is humane and ethical, but also very well organized. This ethical approach is reflected in the respect for my personal boundaries and needs, in the professional approach to clients, and also in the projects themselves, where the emphasis is on sustainability and circularity. When working on projects, there’s room for my opinion and perspective. The office management operates very transparently, so I always know what’s going on organizationally and what lies ahead for us—and for me.
Barbora Laššáková — Intern
I haven’t been with crea-ture for very long, but I already have the opportunity to grow professionally in areas that interest me. A smaller team doesn’t mean smaller projects—it means quality, open communication, and warmth. Although there’s an emphasis on independence, everyone is always willing to help, offer advice, and provide motivation. The whole team holds meetups and brainstorming sessions; every opinion matters, and no idea is a bad one!
What about those who have worked with us in the past?
Aksatha Ravi Kumar — Intern
I started working at crea—tura in November 2020. I was a recent graduate fresh out of college and was looking to gain some architectural experience. I found out about the opportunity through LinkedIn and some friends from college. As the work progressed, I came to realize just how substantial the learning experience I had been promised at the beginning really was. I was given the opportunity to work on some interesting projects and a very exciting competition brief. Above all, I was always asked for my opinion on architectural design proposals, and my ideas were always taken seriously. This helped me build a great deal of confidence in my work and also opened up a new perspective on sustainable design. crea—tura is led by two very inspiring people. I use the term “inspiring” because both Karel and František have diverse approaches to design. Together, they work toward a shared vision: to create quality architecture. Our daily work atmosphere and workload were manageable. Karel always has such positive energy that it automatically gets you excited about work, and František has so much knowledge that he’s always ready to share it. To sum it up, the studio gave me a wonderful experience of working with a very intelligent approach to sustainable design. I can most definitely say that I not only had a great work experience but also made some good friends. And this, for me, seems very important when you’re in a new place—comfort! P.S.—the studio has a very diverse library and THE BEST COFFEE.
Marie Kubátová — Junior Architect
I am very happy to have had the opportunity to become part of the crea-tura team, one of the first architectural firms in the Czech Republic to focus on sustainability and circular architecture. The studio is led by Karel and František, two inspiring individuals and experienced architects. Even in a junior position, I felt like an equal member of the team, and my opinions and design ideas were always welcomed and respected. The welcoming attitude and the full support I received helped me take on new challenges and grow not only as an architect. Other major benefits included flexible working hours and effective management of all ongoing projects. All these aspects combined to create a pleasant work atmosphere and positive energy within the team.
