The New Aleš South Bohemian Gallery
The central theme of the design is the connection between the gallery, art, and public space. The arcade extends this concept, creating the opportunity for a longer and more pleasant stay on the square. It transforms along the facade and, as it approaches Mlýnská Stoka, creates another surprising public space, thus fully integrating with the public realm. The facade serves as a space for displaying an artist’s work or as a promotional display for a gallery exhibition.
